Last weekend Kerry and I had the honour of attending our friends Grant and Elaine’s wedding at the Garfield House Hotel in Stepps. Grant and Elaine were celebrating their wedding on the exact anniversary of them meeting, in what was a great day.
The venue was great, everything looked great and alot of what Elaine had done, Kerry liked and took note of haha. To wrap everything up on the venue, they were also reasonably priced for a drink, so everyone was happy. The dinner was also great, especially the steak and chocolate cake, that has been added to my wanted list for my wedding.
Elaine looked great in her dress and she got the venue decorated so good too, she must of put so much work into it, maybe she even had a little help from Grant?
The ceremony was also very good, with Mick and Elaine’s Uncle (I think) doing a reading each during the exchanging of the vows. Jason done an excellent speech too, and he was even lucky enough to get a laugh at stuff that wasn’t a joke.
A great night was had by all and as far as I can remember no one embarassed themselves either. We hope that Grant and Elaine are enjoying their honeymoon and life as a married couple.
